Beauty on Park Street is a beauty salon based in the Sydney CBD. It’s a competitive market, with numerous salons fighting it out for customers in the area.
Although their web traffic was tracking along decently enough, the Beauty on Park Street team knew they could be doing better.
Their Google rankings for most of their target keywords (screenshot on the left) were anywhere from the middle of page one through to the deeper pages.
The management team knew that by pushing into the top Google rankings they would be able to drive more visitors to their site and more customers on the back of it.
Local Digital was engaged to make this a reality.
We started by conducting a keyword research & mapping process to identify the high value keywords relevant for all of the main pages on the site. We then mapped these keywords out to each page, ensuring the page targeted just one or two closely related keywords.
Our copywriter wrote new SEO optimised copy for the main category and sub category pages on the site. This copy used our proven optimisaiton process, utilising the main keyword targeted in the mapping process, but then also using the synonyms and related keywords Google considers relevant.
Our outreach team focused on building a combination of new local directory and citation links as well as acquiring authority links from high value domains. These links helped to build the trust and credibility of the domain in the eyes of the Google algorithm.
The results have been fantastic, with top Google rankings and increased traffic to the site leading to an increase in new customers.
As the below screenshot shows, their Google rankings have pushed from bottom of page one (or deeper) right up in to the top two or three positions in Google.
